mmc2015
29 June - 2 July 2015
Manchester Central, Manchester
mmc2014 combined the very best of the 2012 European Microscopy Congress and the MICROSCIENCE International Conference and Exhibition series. The Royal Microscopical Society are now pleased to announce mmc2015, which will also incorporate EMAG 2015.
The conference will have five parallel sessions, and will feature the best from both worlds in the microscopical sense – from the life and physical sciences, and from light and electron microscopy. It will include the Annual SPM and Frontiers in BioImaging Meetings, as well as for the first time, the EMAG Meeting
The Conference will run side-by-side with Europe's largest exhibition of microscopy and imaging equipment, with an expected one hundred companies demonstrating the widest range of equipment and consumables. The exhibition will be open from Tuesday 30 June - Thursday 2 July.
If this isn't enough, the event will also be packed with features such as training opportunities, workshops, the RMS International Scientific Imaging Competitions and social events.
We look forward to seeing you in Manchester.

Confirmed sessions for 2015
Focus on Food
Scientific Organisers: Jean-Yves Mugnier and Christopher Parmenter
The second edition of Focus on Food meeting will take place at mmc2015 . The session will be based on food imaging and functionality.
This session will aim to bring together a community of food researchers and people working in the food industry, who are interested in the impact of structure in food products. We will capture the importance of linking processing conditions and product properties with the characterization of microstructure, identifying micro-flora and ingredients, and instrumentation for new and existing exploration in this field.
Invited speakers will come from both industry and academia, giving insights into some approaches that have been developed over time and the exploitation of new techniques.
The associated mmc2015 exhibition will give everyone a great opportunity to explore the applications and techniques that are being developed in this area.
Speakers and sponsors to be announced in late 2014.
