Light Sheet Microscopy is a promising new imaging technology. However, away from the traditional slide/coverslip pair it may be challenging for many users. The Big Data it can generate over days of life imaging of entire embryos could be seen as repulsive. In this workshop, we will explain the different types of light sheet microscopes available including open source systems as well as the Big Data Challenge and the sample preparation with hands on session and testing a light sheet microscope live! Bring your samples if you dare!
